Our half-day Express Phillip Island Tour is ideal if you are short of time and just want to see these gorgeous little creatures in their nightly journey home to their burrows - a natural spectacle that has been seen by millions of people.
You will be amazed to see hundreds if not thousands of Little Penguins waddle across the beach. You will get to stroll among them on elevated boardwalks - you will not believe how close you will get to them, you could almost touch them.
Our half-day tour to the world-famous Philip Island Penguin Parade includes a relaxed drive through gorgeous scenery on our way to the Penguin colony. Enjoy a brief stop to The Nobbies and Seal Rocks for breathtaking photo opportunities. If time and weather permit, we will stroll down the boardwalk, keeping an eye out for penguins hiding under your feet or peeking out from their nesting boxes. Then enjoy a spectacular drive along the cliffs where you may spot soaring birds of prey, wandering Cape Barren geese or grazing wallabies.
Finally, we arrive at the world-renowned Penguin Parade. We will wander down to the beach to watch these delightful little creatures waddle out of the waves and across the sand or clamber over rocks. Marvel as they stop to preen themselves or gawk at these odd humans who come to see them every night. It truly is a magical, memorable experience that will stay with you, your whole life.

Join your ranger guide for an informative journey along the boardwalks, enjoying their commentary via your personal headset. Take your seat in the wonderfully located beachfront viewing stand offering superb viewing of the penguins emerging from the water before seeing them close-up/beach front seating . Only available to ages 12+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Discover little penguins in their natural habitat with this premium beachfront viewing experience. This fully accredited eco-experience will guide you along a secluded boardwalk and immerse you in the heart of the penguin colony. Penguins Premium includes a presentation by one the Penguin Parade's guides, followed by immersive penguin viewing on a limited capacity beach front viewing stand. No children under 12. Adults must accompany children aged 12–15.

Upgrade to Underground Viewing
Encounter the little penguins on their level as you peer directly at them waddling right by on the famous ‘penguin highway’. Stay comfortable and sheltered whilst enjoying an eye-level viewpoint behind a glass window. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Upgrade to Penguins Ultimate Adventure
Be one of the select few to venture out to a secluded beach away from the Penguin Parade on this fully accredited Eco Tour, perfect for lovers of both nature and adventure. Reasonable fitness required, including the ability to walk on soft sand, descend and ascend 20 stairs, and walk up to 1.5 km in each direction on uneven surfaces. Only available to ages 16+.
